Dr. Manfred Beilharz, Chair of Microbiology and Immunology in the School of Biomedical , Biomolecular and Chemical Sciences at the University of Western Australia, discusses the company’s oral interferon product in a radio interview with Graham Mabury of the 6PR Nightline Program. Dr. Beilharz discusses the development history and mechanism of action of oral interferon as well as his Phase 2 clinical trial in Perth, Australia in which healthy volunteers took oral interferon lozenges provided by Amarillo Biosciences, Inc. or a matching placebo once a day for 16 weeks as a prevention for winter colds and influenza.
